Six Spring Break Spots Perfect for Charcuterie

Spring break is here yet again, which means daylight savings, perfect weather, and flocking tourists from all across the country. But who says only college students get to have fun this time of year? For all our Florida residents, you won’t have to travel far to experience the best spring break places our state has to offer. Here are six that would be the perfect spot to relax at, with a charcuterie board by your side.

1. South Beach

If you want the true Spring Break experience, then look no further than South Beach. What better place to soak up the sun, sip a mojito, and meet new cultures than in the heart of Miami. You’ll be booked day and night with things to do ranging from clubs, bars, outdoor cafes, water-based activities and much more!

2. Sanibel Island

Famous for their “sugary” white-sand beaches and year-round tropical climate, Sanibel island is the perfect getaway if you want a more secluded spring break. Be ready to experience the unique fauna and flora native to the island such as manatees, alligators, and dolphins while trying to collect the 250 types of seashells spread across its sands and ocean.

3. Key West

Located just 90 miles north of Cuba, Key West is the perfect destination for a party-centered spring break. It might be hard trying to enjoy one of our charcuterie boards while kayaking, scuba diving, and snorkeling, so be sure to stop at one of their many popular dive bars at least 30 minutes beforehand.

4. Key Largo

If a laid-back homier vibe is what you're looking for, then Key Largo can give you a great spring break without the busyness of the city. This magical island is the self-proclaimed “Dive Capital of the world” and is home to many underwater coral reef attractions. While it doesn’t have the same bustling nightlife and sunsets as Key West, there’s an intimate feel you won't get anywhere else.

5. Clearwater Beach

The reason is in the name. Clearwater beach is notorious for its crystal clear waters and tropical atmosphere. When you’ve had enough fun in the sun, take a trip to Clearwater Marine Aquarium or visit the Clearwater Marina and Pier 60 to partake in the various boating and fishing activities available. And don’t forget to fuel up on the many classic eateries like Shepard's Tiki Beach Bar and Grill.

6. Hollywood Beach

Ft. Lauderdale is a hotspot for spring breakers of all ages and nowhere is as iconic as Hollywood beach. The 2.5 mile boardwalk is sure to keep you entertained with bars, restaurants, live music, and much more. You can also stop by Las Olas boulevard which is the forefront of everything Ft. Lauderdale has to offer.
